Woman in Russia happy to be lost in poker game
By Erik Sylven
A man losing his wife in a poker game would normally be a tragic story. In Murmansk, Russia, however, things are a bit different. The woman lost is now happily married to the man who won her.
According to the Web site ananova.com, Andrei Karpov of Murmansk put his wife Tatiana at stake when he ran out of cash during a poker game. His opponent Sergey Brodov showed no mercy, and soon Andrei had lost Tatiana as well.
Tatiana was so furious with her husband that she chose to respect the outcome of the poker game. She immediately left Andrei Karpov and started a relationship Brodov instead. The two are now happily married.
"Sergey was a very handsome, charming man, and I am very happy with him, even if he did 'win' me in a poker game." Tatiana said according to ananova.com.
