A Live Poker Update: June 2026
Table of Contents
With the calendar turning to June, all eyes are fixated on Vegas as the best adult summer camp gets ready to kick off — so much tournament action is set to take place in Sin City through the entire month, but it’s not the only spot in the world that has great poker on tap. Let’s go through all of the major live poker events happening around the world this month!
Poker Series in Las Vegas
2026 World Series of Poker: Horseshoe & Paris

There is no other way of starting this update than with the World Series of Poker. The Horseshoe and Paris will once again play host to 100 live bracelet events, 168 daily deep-stack tournaments, while WSOP.com hosts 30 online bracelet events for those situated in Nevada, New Jersey, Michigan and Pennsylvania, all starting on May 26th, and running through July 15th with a pause for the Main Event.
The race for WSOP POY will generally center around those who fair the best in the following events:
| Event | Dates |
|---|---|
| $25k NLHE Heads-Up Event | May 29 to June 1 |
| $10k NLHE GGMillion$ | May 31 to June 4 |
| $25k NLHE Eight Max | June 3 to 7 |
| $10k Dealer’s Choice Seven Max | June 7 to 9 |
| $50k NLHE Eight Max | June 8 to 10 |
| $100k NLHE Eight Max | June 10 to 12 |
| $250k NLHE Eight Max | June 13 to 15 |
| $25k PLO Eight Max | June 15 to 19 |
| $10k HORSE | June 18 to 21 |
| $50k PLO Eight Max | June 19 to 21 |
| $50k Poker Player’s Championship | June 21 to 25 |
| $10k PLO Eight Max | June 26 to 29 |
| $100k PLO Eight Max | June 30 to July 2 |
| $10k NLHE Main Event | June 2 to July 13; Final Table August 3 to 5 |
| $50k NLHE Eight Max | July 9 to 12 |
It’s worth noting that this year’s Main Event will be paused once the final table is determined and will then resume in August once the rest of the series is complete. This will allow ESPN to produce episodes over the three-week gap, centered around the final nine, leading up to the live final table broadcast.
While the bracelet events always tend to be the most hyped part of the series, more recreational grinders who don’t have $10k to put down will once again have the Daily Deepstack Series at their disposal, featuring an average of three to four tournaments a day, with buy-ins ranging from $250 and up. This also provides a way for those who bust out of the bracelet events to spend their evenings at the Horseshoe and Paris and not get lured to the plethora of other series in Las Vegas.
2026 DeepStack Championship Poker Series: The Venetian

The Venetian keeps up their poker tournament series with the DeepStack Championship that kicks off May 18th and lasts until August 2nd. The 2026 edition features over 110 tournaments with buy-ins starting at $200, and ranging up to $1,600. The series also includes a $2,500 LIPS Ladies event starting on June 30th.
Most DeepStack tournaments are single day affairs, but the weekends tend to see the multi-flight and multi-day events ramp up. One of the biggest tournaments on the schedule is the $1,100 NLHE that starts on June 6th — the $1 million guarantee event will crown a champion on June 10the.
High rollers will want to take note that starting June 30th — as the WSOP Main Event ramps up — all DeepStack Championship events have four digit buy-ins, including the LIPS $2,500 event.
2026 Wynn Summer Classic: Wynn Las Vegas

Not to be outdone, the Wynn hosts its Summer Classic that runs along side the WSOP, starting on May 20th and wraps up on July 13th, with over 80 tournaments on the schedule. The Wynn Summer Classic tends to cater to players with bankrolls slightly higher than those in the Venetian, with the lowest buy-in set at $600 and most events set at $1,100. The bigger tournaments on the schedule includeČ

The 2026 edition of the Aria Poker Classic is set to run May 27th through July 12th, with just under 100 events on the schedule. The buy-ins start at a respectable $300, with the biggest event of the series being the $3,500 BetMGM NLHE Championship, with a $4 million guarantee from July 1st.
