King Takes Down Ladies Event

One of the most successful events of the series has been Ladies First, which set a record for the number of entries in a tournament for female poker players at the MPF.

King, quite unironically, became its Queen — we are talking about Andrea Yvonne King from England.

Andrea isn’t just some poker tourist. She has a rather impressive career in the poker industry:

• From 2018 to 2021, she worked as a Marketing and Sales Executive for the partypoker LIVE brand.
• From 2021 to 2023, she was a Marketing Manager at Entain.
• From 2023 to 2025, she held the position of Senior Marketing Manager at WPT Global.
• Since 2025, she has held the same position at ClubWPT Gold.

Prior to Malta, she had one notable victory to her name in a regular tournament at Dusk Till Dawn, £40 NLH Turbo event in 2024, for which she received £1,495.

Best Halloween Looks

The organizers of MPF Autumn 2026 decided to keep the Halloween celebration tradition alive by hosting not only a special Halloween event but also a competition for the best costume. Knowing this, some players really outdid themselves, especially women.

In the end, the €2,500 package for the MPF Spring Edition 2027 went to “the colorful lady” whose costume was made by her son. Second place and branded backpack were awarded to a contestant dressed as a Viking.
