Record-Breaking Streamer Lukas “RobinPoker” Robinson

Englishman Lukas Robinson captured the poker community’s attention in 2021 when he quit his job to pursue a professional poker and streaming career, starting with a challenge to play 1,000 hours of poker live in 100 days.

Lukas went viral online when he reacted emotionally to his victory in the $44 Bounty Builder tournament on PokerStars during a stream, apologizing to viewers for breaking down in tears.

He was so sincere that the other players couldn’t pass by this moment, including Spraggy, who said:

Benjamin Spragg

What a guy, what a guy! Oooh! Is he the sweetest guy alive or what?!

Shortly after this, Robinson became part of the GG Team Twitch Squad, where he remained until July 2023, when PokerNews hired him as the first member of their new Ambassador Team.

In 2024, he took part in the first YouTube poker reality show, Game of Gold. In 2025, Robinson also became an ambassador for the SiGMA Poker Tour, combining two roles for a year and then left PokerNews in early 2026.

CoinPoker welcomed him on June 1st, 2026, not just as a partner but also as a content creator for the room — and sent Robinson over the moon:

I still have to pinch myself that I get to do this poker thing for a living. I’m incredibly proud to work with a company that shares the same ambition and passion for growing poker as much as I do. I’m thrilled to be joining such a great team. A huge thank you to everyone who has supported me these past 5 years since I quit my job. I’m genuinely grateful for everything. This next chapter is going to be a lot of fun. 🙏 I’ll be running weekly home games and meet-up cash games every week live on stream where you’ll be able to play against me. I’ve also got some really exciting plans coming soon. Let’s do this. 🪙
