Daniel Dvoress Sets New Triton Record By Winning Three Tournaments In One Series

Daniel Dvoress became the biggest winner of Triton Montenegro. He opened the series with a victory in the $25K Golden Decade, then won the $100K PLO Main Event, and closed the festival with another title in the $25K PLO Bounty Quattro. Here’s a look at the other Omaha winners from the series.

Daniel Dvoress Crushes Triton PLO Tournaments

Montenegro turned into a special place for Dvoress. Early in the series, he won the $25K NLH Golden Decade ($849K). In the winner’s interview afterward, Dvoress said there was still a lot of work ahead. He probably didn’t expect that he would go on to win two more trophies.

The first came in the $100K PLO Main Event. In 6-max, Dvoress was the shortest stack with 11 BB. In 5-max, he dropped to 6.2 BB, but doubled through Mike Watson and then won another all-in against Martin Dam. His stack climbed to 39 BB, with only Manuel Stojanovic ahead of him at 76 BB.

Eventually, Dvoress entered heads-up with 47 BB against Stojanovic’s 17 BB. Watch the final hand on Twitter (X).

“I came into the final table being last and mentally I was preparing to think of techniques to try to ladder, try to like sneak in a pay-jump,” Dvoress admitted. “And then things turned around really quickly. I just feel really fortunate.”

Matthias Eibinger Tilt-Registers The $50K PLO Mystery Bounty, Wins It, And Turns His Series Profitable ($1,053,000)

This became the seventh title for the 33-year-old Austrian poker pro, with three of them coming in Omaha events.

The tournament attracted 47 entries and generated a $2,350,000 prize pool. Eibinger collected 45% of it after scoring seven bounties and pulling the biggest envelopes: $250K + $150K + two $75K envelopes + two $50K envelopes.

After the victory, Eibinger revealed that he is actually far from a newcomer to Omaha. During COVID, he played one million hands of AoF PLO, which helped him develop a valuable skill — accurately evaluating hand equities.

He registered for the $50K PLO Mystery Bounty while on tilt after losing a massive stack in the $100K PLO Main Event, where he eventually finished 9th for $212K.

In the end, the series turned out successfully for Eibinger. He started with 10 straight tournaments without a single ITM finish, but then placed 4th in the $150K NLH ($1,088,000), finished 9th in the $100K PLO Main Event, and immediately after busting that event tilt-registered the $50K PLO Mystery Bounty — which he went on to win for $1,053,000.

Richard Gryko Wins Second Career Triton Title In $75K PLO 6-Handed ($1.2M)

One year and one day had passed since Richard Gryko’s first Triton victory. Back then, he won the $50K PLO for $884K. Last night, the lead PLO coach of bitB secured his second seven-figure Triton score.

“I was having the time of my life until Jason got moved to my direct left,” Gryko admitted.

The fun ended there. Koon applied relentless pressure. Watch one of those hands in the Twitter (X) video below.

Eventually, Koon and Gryko reached heads-up with stacks of 69 BB and 25 BB respectively. The deck was firmly on Gryko’s side as he kept winning pot after pot. In the final hand, the money went in on the flop: 5 10 A — Gryko held J 9 5 5 , while Koon had A 10 3 2 . Gryko held up.
