Amid all the news about high rollers and poker content creators, the people who keep the game running often get lost in the shuffle. We’re talking about successful hard-working grinders who have been playing poker for years at their own expense. In 2026, one of them, Upper Marlboro resident Justin Arnwine, can rightfully be called the face of live tournament poker in the US.

On July 28th, 2026, Justin became the winner of the $600 NLH $150K GTD at the DeepStack Championship at the Venetian Poker Room, earning the bronze coin, the trophy, and $25,047.

Following his success, we decided to tell you about Arnwine’s amazing career, while focusing on how he earned the nickname The King of Dailies and what makes him an icon of live poker grinding.

Arnwine’s Incredible Results in Numbers

When calculating records, the poker community likes to use the earliest publicly available date for a player’s results. While this approach is usually fair, in Justin Arnwine’s case, it doesn’t accurately reflect his remarkable situation.

Although his first ITM in a live tournament was recorded in 2009, he only started cashing regularly in live tournaments in 2019.

From April 2019 to July 2026, he secured 541 prize places in tournaments, mostly in daily events with buy-ins from $100 to $600, among which only a few times during the year there were buy-ins of $1K — $1.5K. Over the course of seven full years, he won the prize an average of 77 times each year — that’s almost every fourth day of the year.

What’s also surprising is that 151 of his prize places are victories, meaning he wins an average of 3.5 tournaments.

Interestingly, most of his payouts are under $10K with only 37 of them are above that — and he still managed to win over $2M. However, for most of his career Justin didn’t even have a single six-figure score.

For two and a half years, his wife Caitlin held the best cash of the family after she took home $172,044 for second place in the $2.7K Main Event at the Potomac Winter Poker Open in February 2023.

Justin finally surpassed his wife’s career best cash in December 2025 when he won the $1.1K Mystery Bounty at the WPT World Championship, taking $259,670.

After this victory, he continued grinding as usual but slightly increased buy-ins, even checking out tournaments up to $25K. This didn’t go unnoticed by some haters, and in June 2026, Justin experienced the following situation:

Somebody who I have ZERO respect for came up to me in da horseshoe hallway and said “I see ur big time now, no more dailies in Maryland” so out of pure spite I entered da $200 buyin 7pm daily and this happened… 🫡😼😈🙀

This was the victory in $200 Daily Deepstack with 316 entries where he took $9,796.

How Manners and Attitude Secured Arnwine’s Icon Status

As you can see, it is not just victories that make Justin Arnwine a remarkable player and role model for others, but his personality as well.

A significant portion of his fan base looks up to him for his poise and general approach to the game. And even the haters find him interesting and intriguing enough to hang around with their discontent, in which notes of respect and envy are visible.

The most humorous example: Justin’s stunningly long nails, which allow him to deftly handle both chips and cards.

Some find them unkempt, others stylish: Justin himself treats the attention directed at them with humor, taking the position: “You should see my mom’s!

On a more serious note, Justin is also known as a player who genuinely enjoys every poker tournament he plays in — and listens only to people who are actually winning, just as he is. He is also often described by peers as smart, cunning, and extremely focused but also kind-hearted and polite.

He understands that it’s impossible to please everyone — and he doesn’t worry about what others think, devoting his full attention to his game.

But the best account about a player is a first-person account, so to conclude the article, we chose a quote from Nicholas Rigby, in which he describes his impressions of Justin Arnwine after playing against him:

This man ain’t scared to put to in the middle and has a winner’s mentality.  I could tell from the first time I shared the felt with him…he’s a closer and a winner…
