On July 29th, 2026, a player nicknamed STALKKER proved that the poker dream is still alive, despite the skepticism coming from the poker community. He managed to win a top bounty at GGPoker’s most unusual format — and if you look at his stats, this success becomes even more incredible.

One in a Million Prize
During the fateful tournament, STALKKER reached the final table of the $25 Mystery Battle Royale — which is the only stage of this tournament that offers bounties — and when five players remained in the game, he got all-in pre-flop with two other players.

Not only did he manage to knockout both players, he also received a total of $250,018 in bounties for them — the top payout and the third-largest from the bottom.
This is an incredible level of luck when you know the probabilities of getting these bounties:
- $18 — 230,000 in 1,000,000 = 23%
- $250,000 — 1 in 1,000,000 = 0.001%
And it looks even more surprising if you take a closer look at STALKKER‘s statistics in these games.
Why STALKKER’s Luck Is So Impressive
In the GGPoker lobby, you can see that the Ukrainian has played 1,305 Mystery Battle Royale tournaments in total — by comparison, the average reg for these games plays over 1,500 tournaments per month.

Before receiving $250,018 in bounties in this tournament, STALKKER had total winnings of $29,476.25.
On the ResultHub statistics portal, which tracks players’ point generation in the daily Mystery Battle Royale leaderboard, you can see that STALKKER only began appearing on July 17th, 2026.

Stats on this screenshot lead to several conclusions.
First of all, STALKKER primarily played the $25 Mystery Battle Royale.
Secondly, for the entire career until July 17th, 2026, only 7 times did he manage to play enough tournaments to make it onto the leaderboard.
Thirdly, in the $10 Mystery Battle Royale, he reached the required number of points for the leaderboard only once and received the minimum prize for it.
Finally, on the day of the top bounty, STALKKER didn’t even try to break into the leaderboard, stopping playing after he caught his luck by the tail.

Apparently, the lucky player decided not to tempt fate and put the Mystery Battle Royale entry on hold until he could accept the life-changing prize and decide what to do with poker. Perhaps this is one of those cases in poker, when such a large win puts an end to a player’s career — because the winnings free them from the need to continue playing.
