PokerStars on FanDuel Misses June 3 Ontario Launch
It appears we spoke too soon. Earlier this week, everything seemed ready for PokerStars on FanDuel to make its long awaited debut in Ontario on June 3. The date was locked in, the marquee tournaments announced and then — nothing. The launch didn’t go through, with PokerStars on FanDuel issuing just a short announcement on their official X account:
Unfortunately we have to postpone today's launch of PokerStars exclusively on @FanDuel.

While the platform is yet to go live in Ontario as of this article, here is what we know so far.
Another Delay for PokerStars on FanDuel Ontario
Late last week, the newly established platform went on X to announce their June launch in Ontario:

This news came as a breath of fresh air, as the Ontario poker crowd has been without PokerStars ever since May 7, when the operator halted its operations and stopped offering poker, casino and sports on their official platform. And while the Canadian launch was supposed to follow the US timeline and go live sometime in early May, it backtracked its initial launch due to undisclosed delays.
Now, it seems to have happened again. Whether the most recent delay is due to technical, compliance, or regulatory issues remains unclear for now.
However, earlier today, the comment section beneath the postponement post did offer a silver lining and hope that the platform will be up and running today:

For now, all we can do is wait and hope to see when the platform goes live and brings some much appreciated competition to the Canadian province.
