Laszlo Bujtas was Fabiano Kovalski’s biggest “sponsor” on the way to the GGMillion$ title
Fabiano Kovalski started the final table with the fifth-largest stack. The chip leader was one of the strongest Omaha players in the game, Laszlo “omaha4rollz” Bujtas. However, things did not go Bujtas’ way. He lost most of his chips to the eventual champion.
At 8-max, Bujtas 4-bet with KQo and faced a 5-bet shove from Kovalski. He had to fold.

At 7-max, Bujtas made a straight on the river, but Kovalski had already made a full house on the flop and got paid. After that hand, Kovalski took the chip lead.

At 5-max, Kovalski lost a 33 BB pot with pocket sixes against Hannes Jeska’s pocket fives after a five hit the river. Kovalski lost the chip lead and dropped to the third-largest stack. But not for long.
Bujtas “sponsored” him again. At 4-max, he 4-bet shoved for 14 BB with A5o, and Kovalski called with AA. Bujtas was eliminated, and Kovalski was back in the chip lead.
In third place, Kovalski eliminated Hannes Jeska with 77 > KQo in a 24 BB pot.
Kovalski entered heads-up play with 46 BB against Spain’s Jon Vallinas with 52 BB.
In the final hand, with an effective stack of 25 BB, Kovalski limped with K 8 , and Vallinas checked with 5 4 . The flop came Q 8 5 . Vallinas check-called a 1 BB bet.
The turn was the 8 , and Vallinas donk bet for 3.2 BB. The 6 fell on the river, bringing the pot to 10.5 BB. Vallinas shoved for twice the pot, and Kovalski called almost instantly.
