Thew Named Team PokerStars Pro
Nottingham, England's Julian Thew is now a Team PokerStars Pro.
"I'm thrilled to have been offered a spot on Team PokerStars Pro and I look forward to promoting the brand on my travels throughout the year," said Thew, who was named to the team Wednesday.
Thew has close to $2.5 million in career tournament earnings with his biggest win coming in 2007 at EPT Baden.
His resume also includes wins at the Venetian Deep Stack Extravaganza in Las Vegas and on the Grosvenor UK Poker Tour.
Currently eighth on England's all time money list, Thew joins four other members of Team PokerStars Pro UK including John Duthie, Vicky Coren, Jude Ainsworth and J.P. Kelly.
Thew's first event wearing the PokerStars patch will be the UKIPT stop in Manchester which began Thursday.
