Sports Media Gaming signs Jennicide

Sports Media Gaming will provide exclusive commercial representation for Jennifer "Jennicide" Leigh, according to a press release from the representation agency.

The company said it is delighted to have signed an exclusive representation agreement with Jennifer Leigh, one of the "hottest rising stars in poker."

"Jennifer brings a fresh approach to poker which combines skill at the tables with a high sense of fashion and glamour, all attractive attributes to brands wishing to align with more lifestyle conscious players," said Stephen Pearson, Sports Media Gaming managing director.

"We will be seeking to conclude commercial deals with both gaming and non-gaming brands as well as promoting Jennifer extensively in poker and lifestyle media on an international scale."

Leigh has been cultivating a star image both at the poker table and away from it. Her success in the game includes a cash in a 2006 World Series of Poker Event and a cash in a 2006 World Poker Tour event.

She also participated in the Poker Royale: Battle of the Ages in 2005, where she won two of the preliminary matches against players like Miami John Cernuto, Evelyn Ng, Dan Harrington, T.J. Cloutier, Erin Ness, Dutch Boyd and others.

Leigh has also managed to transcend the poker world and vault into the mainstream with exposure on TV and in lifestyle media such as FHM. She also has a photo spread in the latest issue of Playboy.

"Sports Media Gaming has all the qualities I was seeking in a representation agency and [...] a track record to back up my decision to appoint them," Leigh said.

Sports Media Gaming has extensive experience in international sports and poker marketing, which has included helping Liz Lieu broker an online sponsorship deal and spearheading European marketing for DoylesRoom.
