skeptix wins Bodog 100k Guaranteed

Online player skeptix may no longer be a skeptic after winning the Bodog's biggest tournament this Sunday.

skeptix outlasted countless players and then beat fitzfitz in heads-up play to take down the Bodog $100,0000 Guaranteed for a total of $23,600. skeptix has been playing on Bodog Poker for a couple of years, but the $100,000 Guaranteed was his biggest score yet.

Bodog seems to be in the spotlight a lot lately, as members of Team Bodog will be featured prominently in the first two weeks of ESPN's coverage of the 2008 WSOP.

Poker fans will be able to see Bodog pro Grant Hinkle take down his first bracelet in Event 2, which airs tonight on ESPN at 8 p.m. ET. Hinkle beat a stacked final table that included the likes of Chris "Jesus" Ferguson, Theo Tran and David Bach.

ESPN will air another Bodog-heavy episode on Tuesday, Aug. 4, when the conclusion of Event 4 airs. Team Bodog members David Williams and Justin Bonomo were seated next to each other at the final table, which saw an all-pro lineup with Erick Lindgren, Roland De Wolfe and Howard Lederer all gunning for WSOP gold.
