Alisson Piekazewicz Wins His Long-Awaited First GGMillion$ Title ($280K)

Alisson Piekazewicz entered his 65th GGMillion$ and reached his 8th final table. This time, the Brazilian poker pro finally went all the way. Here’s how the action unfolded.

Alisson Piekazewicz Dominates The GGMillion$ Final Table

Piekazewicz built momentum early and never looked back. By the end of late registration, he had accumulated 22 starting stacks and entered the final table with 107 big blinds, controlling around a quarter of the chips in play.

Throughout the final table, he never dropped below second in chips.

He eliminated three opponents along the way:

  • 4th place: Pedro Padilha — A9s vs 22, 44 BB pot. An ace landed on the flop.
  • 3rd place: Rayan “Beriuzy” Chamas — A4o vs 22, 16 BB pot. A four hit the flop.

Heads-up began almost even, with Piekazewicz holding 56 BB against Sven Andersson’s 60 BB. The heads-up battle went on for another hour, as the chip lead swung back and forth around eight times.

Piekazewicz’s trap snapped shut.

One of the key pots came when Piekazewicz limped preflop with Q Q , setting a trap. Andersson raised, then fired the flop, checked the turn, and bet the river on a board of 6 Q 4 K 8 . Piekazewicz check-raised the river, forcing Andersson to fold and winning a 19 BB pot.

In the final hand, Andersson shoved his last 10 BB with Q J . Piekazewicz called with A 10 . The board ran out 2 8 5 10 8 , securing him the title.
