While other poker rooms are testing new formats, 888poker decided to remind players of the classic that launched the careers of a huge number of modern top-tier players: Sit&Go.

It’s unclear whether this is a test for a future long-term comeback, so don’t miss a chance to get a glimpse of what online poker was like during its dawn for at least one weekend in July 2026.

Sit&Go Freeroll Qualifiers

Everyday between July 23rd and 26th, 2026, players have a chance to get a seat in promotional Sit&Gos for free through special freerolls.

Guarantees depend on the tournament the freeroll leads to. For example, on July 24th they are:

  • 300 tickets for $1.05 Sit&Go — starts at 15:00 GMT
  • 150 tickets for $2.10 Sit&Go — starts at 16:00 GMT
  • 60 tickets for $5.25 Sit&Go — starts at 17:00 GMT
  • 30 tickets for $10.50 Sit&Go — starts at 18:00 GMT

Sit&GO Weekend Freerolls start on different schedules and can be found in the Tournaments section by selecting the Special and Freerolls filters.
