Artem Osmirko Runs Through the GGMillion$ Final Table in Two Hours

Osmirko started the final table with the third-largest stack.

Guillaume Nolet finished ninth. In his final hand, he shoved 3 BB with K 9 and got called by Artem Osmirko with A 2 and leng321 with 8 5 . The 8 J 5 flop left Nolet with very little chance of winning.

Brunno Botteon finished eighth. In his final hand, he shoved 10 BB with A 8 , and Osmirko called with J J . An A hit the flop, but Osmirko made a flush on the river.

Matheus “Lucky-Nomad” Zancan, who started with the second-largest stack, finished seventh. In one hand, he fell into a trap set by leng321. The Chinese player opened from UTG+1 with 7 7 , and Lucky-Nomad called from the BTN with 8 8 . The board ran 7 3 4 J 5 . leng321 bet 2 BB on the flop, 5 BB on the turn, and 7 BB on the river, and Lucky-Nomad decided to shove.

In his final hand, with a 9 BB stack, Lucky-Nomad 3-bet to 5 BB with A K , and Beckmann called with K 7 . The board ran K 2 7 4 9 . Lucky-Nomad bet 1 BB on the flop and check-shoved the turn.

Aleks Borovkov finished sixth. He was dealt very poorly throughout the tournament. In his final hand, he got it in with pocket nines against Hong’s pocket kings for a 22 BB pot.

In 5-handed play, one of the craziest hands in GGMillion$ history, perhaps, took place. Hong 6-bet with A 5 against leng321’s A 9 , creating a 42 BB pot.

leng321 eventually finished fourth. In his final hand, he defended the BB with Q4o against an open from Artem Osmirko, who raised from the SB with 96o. The flop came 6-T-Q. Osmirko bet 2.5 BB, and leng321 called. A 6 hit the turn. Osmirko check-shoved, leng321 called, and the pot reached 40 BB.

In 3-handed play, Paul Hong lost a massive pot to Artem Osmirko. The effective stack was 47 BB. Preflop, Osmirko 3-bet from the BB with T8o, and Hong called from the SB with AQo. The flop came 3-Q-Q, and the pot was 18.5 BB. Osmirko bet 8.5 BB, and Hong called. The turn was a J, and both players checked. A 9 hit the river. Hong shoved, and Osmirko snap-called for a 96 BB pot.

Vlada “Vlada2108” Stojanovic finished third. In his final hand, he got it in with ATo against Osmirko’s pocket jacks. Osmirko flopped a set and improved to a full house on the river.

Paul Hong and Artem Osmirko eventually reached heads-up. Hong had 29 BB, while Osmirko had 97 BB. Hong closed the gap after winning a 63 BB pot with AKs against A2s, hitting a 2 on the flop and a K on the river.

In the final hand, Hong got it in with 99 against A7o for a 25 BB pot. The board ran 9-T-J-8-K.
