Continuing to update, expand, and improve the schedule for players from Asia, WPT Global has announced a WPT Asia series of fast-paced tournaments with leaderboards, missions, and custom trophies for the summer of 2026.

Key Details of the Asia Series

  • Dates: from July 5th to August 16th, 2026

  • 13 trophy events in total
  • 7 single-day events
  • 6 flighted events
  • ¥2,000,000 leaderboard
  • ¥2,100,000 in rewards from special daily missions

Overdrive! Trophy Events

Among the myriad of tournaments on the WPT Asia Series: Overdrive! schedule are 13 trophy events across two formats.

Seven single-day events will start according to the following schedule:

  1. ¥188 Ignition ¥1,000,000 Gtd — July 5th, 2026
  2. ¥188 Mystery Surge ¥1,000,000 Gtd — July 12th, 2026
  3. ¥588 Bounty Boost ¥1,500,000 Gtd — July 19th, 2026
  4. ¥588 Mystery Overheat ¥1,500,000 Gtd — July 26th, 2026
  5. ¥660 Redline Championship ¥2,000,000 Gtd — August 2nd, 2026
  6. ¥660 Mystery Nitro Championship ¥2,000,000 Gtd — August 9th, 2026
  7. ¥880 Grand Prix Main Event ¥2,500,000 Gtd — August 16th, 2026

The second batch of tournaments consists of six multi-flights whose Day 2 starts:

  1. ¥55 Warm-Up ¥1,000,000 Gtd — July 12th, 2026
  2. ¥66 Rev Up  ¥1,000,000 Gtd — July 19th, 2026
  3. ¥88 Throttle  ¥1,500,000 Gtd — July 26th, 2026
  4. ¥188 Top Gear ¥2,000,000 Gtd — August 2nd, 2026
  5. ¥188 Boost Mode ¥2,500,000 Gtd — August 9th, 2026
  6. ¥188 Full Throttle ¥3,000,000 Gtd — August 16th, 2026

Their flights will run every day, 12 per day. The winner of each of these tournaments will receive a special trophy — a WPT Ring.

¥2,000,000 Overdrive! Leaderboard

Throughout the series, players will be able to participate in a special weekly leaderboard, with points awarded for achieving a certain placement in WPT Asia Series: Overdrive tournaments!

Only the top 10 scoring days are counted towards the leaderboard. The number of points varies between tournament tiers, which can be seen in their lobbies.

The final calculation also includes points for Early Bird and Bubble from all series tournaments except Diamond Large.

Daily Missions Worth ¥2,100,000

Throughout the series, various missions will be available daily on WPT Global. Completing them will earn players tickets to special Daily Final tournaments.

WPT Asia Series: Overdrive! missions vary by category, including deposit, designed tournament, and casino wagering missions.

The Daily Final starts each day at 14:30 UTC and has a ¥50,000 guarantee.
