PartyPoker felts to feature advertisements
Shortly after poker room PKR announced its dot-net site will feature advertisements, PartyGaming has signed up to market space on its play-for-fun site.
The company, owners of PartyPoker.com, has linked with online advertisement network Traffic Marketplace to sell sponsorship opportunities on its free site, PartyPoker.net.
The poker room is now available to interested advertisers, who can purchase display banners, custom "advergaming solutions" and sponsorship throughout the site. Some of the unique options for ad space include branded felts and custom characters acting as dealers in the games.
"PartyPoker provides a tremendous opportunity for Traffic Marketplace advertisers to reach a highly-coveted demographic - young, affluent, entertainment-seeking consumers - in a uniquely captive-user experience," said Traffic Marketplace president Calvin Lui.
The marketing company's newest client will further its network's reach and enhance audience profiles, he added. According to the Traffic Marketplace, its ranking on comScore Media Metrix reached 108 million unique viewers, or 61% of the U.S. Internet audience in April.
