With the WSOP one week away, Gus Hansen refuses to let up in his quest for online dominance.

Last night that drive led to his unraveling as the Great Dane lost several hundred thousand dollars over 481 hands on Full Tilt Poker.

Just a couple days removed from a weekend that saw him earn $686k, Hansen decided to hit the high stakes draw games against Seb86 and Kagome Kagome.

It proved to be a mistake, as Hansen simply couldn’t get anything going against either player and eventually finished down a total of $345k.

Despite the huge loss, Hansen remains this year’s biggest winner in online poker with over $3 million in profit.

Meanwhile Kagome Kagome finished up $177k and Seb86 picked up $168k for his efforts. Previously known as IHateJuice, Kagome Kagome has had a tough year and is still down a total of $1.5 million.

Over on PokerStars, Viktor “Isildur1” Blom continued his war with Gavin “gavz101” Cochrane.

It’s been a strong month for Blom and his good fortune continued last night as he beat gavz101 for a total of $90k over 3,075 hands. The pair stuck to $50/$100 PLO for the entirety of their enormous session.

After last night’s victory, Blom finally erased the last of his deficit on PokerStars. It’s the first time in months that Blom has been even on the site and it’s especially impressive considering he was down more than $500k at one point.

Other big winners last night included Mary & Joey (+$48k), tr1cky7 (+$48k) and saphire1 ($33k).

Outside of Hansen, gavz101 was the biggest loser. Thanks to Isildur1, gavz101 lost a total of $91k.

Some of the other significant players in the losing column included le kork (-$78k), compris (-$64k) and azn_baller3 (-21k).
