The World Series of Poker Europe is headed to Berlin, Germany, hot on the heels of the world-famous Octoberfest festival.

The 2015 WSOPE will feature 10 gold bracelet events that will run from Oct. 8-24, 2015, at the Spielbank Berlin Casino.

The WSOP also released details on all 10 of the tournaments. Perhaps the most interesting is a €550 buy-in No-Limit Hold’em “Oktoberfest” event that starts Oct. 9. It’s the smallest buy-in bracelet event ever held in Europe.

The “Oktoberfest” tournament isn’t even the only €550 event at the WSOPE, however. There will also be a €550 Pot-Limit Omaha starting on Oct. 15.

As usual the WSOP will also offer a €25,600 high roller tournament towards the end of the series.

Oktoberfest, which takes place in Munich, actually precedes the tournament series and runs from Sept. 19 to Oct. 4 so poker players looking to take part will have to show up a couple weeks earlier.

“Germany is truly a hotbed for poker talent,” said WSOP Executive Director Ty Stewart.

“As home country to our reigning Player of the Year and 2011 World Champion, we look forward to discovering new names ready to perform on poker’s biggest stage.

“Berlin became a logical choice city for WSOP Europe given its proximity to all of Europe, the experienced management team at Spielbank, and the gap of time since a major poker tournament has come to the city. We believe this truly will be the best organized and contested WSOP Europe ever.”

In addition to George Danzer and Pius Heinz, Germany is home to a hotbed of extremely high-end poker talent including Ole Schemion, Fedor Holz, Igor Kurganov, Fabian Quoss, Philipp Gruissem and more.
