Kravchenko Last Man Standing
In the end there could be only one and that one was Alex Kravchenko. Although play went be back and forth for some time it seemed that Kravchenko would not be denied.
In the end, Kravchenko's huge chip lead proved to be an insurmountable challenge for the charismatic Bryan Devonshire. The final hand played out like this:
Devonshire decided to push all-in on a board of 4♣ Q♥ Q♣ 4♠ 8♦. He knew it was a mistake the moment he flipped over A♣ A♠ 8♠ 5♣. His concerns were confirmed when Kravchenko showed A♦ 10♠ 9♦ 4♥ for trip fours. Someone from the crowd shouted, "Go Moscow!" and it was all over.
Congratulations to Kravchenko the 2007 WSOP Event 9 winner!
