Devilfish And Hellmuth Feud at WSOP 2010

All kinds of explosive conflicts can occur at a poker table, but when it's two of the most notorious bad boys of poker - well, things can go nuclear.

Most recently, there's a big buzz around the growing Hellmuth/Devilfish feud that is developing into a beast of a conflict.

It all started when Hellmuth got his trip tens cracked by Devilfish's big draw in the $5k PLO/8 event.

Hellmuth wasn't amused as PL.com's Jason Phillips reported in our live coverage.

"What the f*** are you doing, Fish?" - A furious Phil Hellmuth asked Dave "Devilfish" Ulliott after being eliminated in a whirlwind pot.

"This mother f***er just called 80k with that?"

Devilfish just laughed at Hellmuth's childish reaction to the beat - but later on he wasn't laughing.

Hellmuth apparently turned up at the PLO/8 final table where he continued to harangue Devilfish as he played out for the bracelet.

Devilfish was not impressed by this lack of professionalism and Hellmuth's weak attempts to reconcile the pair have fallen on stony ground.

This was their exchange earlier in the $5k PLO event, as reported by PokerListings reporter Jackie Witt.

Hellmuth continues to chide Devilfish for the bad beat he suffered in Saturday night's PLO/8 tournament. Devilfish, meanwhile, doesn't seem to be in the mood for reconciling.

"I'm just saying you owe me a bottle or two of Cristal after the beat you put on me, Fishy," Hellmuth said.

"I might stick a bottle up your ass," Devilfish said, causing the entire table to erupt into laughter.

This feud looks like it might be set to run and run.

    While Devil Fish has the capacity to be a nasty, spiteful and rude player at the table, he has at least got a sense of humour and does occasionally come out with some very funny lines. Hellmuth is quite simply the Poker Twat.

    These are the 2 players I dislike the most.
    Helmuth is a cry baby child, I can't stand him and Devilfish is a classless alcoholic dumbass who "thinks" he's cool. I hate arrogant poker players who are assholes. Laak, Ivey, Negreanu, Cunningham, Hansen, Lederer and many more represent the good side of poker. Helmuth and Fish are just twats.

    helmuth is a fool. Devilfish had a much better hand pre-flop and then he has so much equity on the flop. Hellmuth such a buttmunch! Go suck one hellmouth.

    There is nothing more entertaining than a Hellmuth tirade. Who doesn't enjoy that silly man once again making an ass of himself over a beat that every other one of us has taken with a shrug or a sigh?

    Yeah comb it forward fish! Losing the hair huh? Looks great....idiot. Hellmuth is a whiny loser too, just like Devilfish......they both bitch and whine when they lose so they should be perfect for each other.

    I could give a shit less about these two idiots. What I care about is the fact that they can saw whatever they want and no one does anything about it. Phil can say &*)%&^$*( and nothing happens. A regular Joe says one tenth of that and he gets a time penalty. Harrah’s needs to do something about that. It would be great if they sat these idiots out an hour and let them blind off in the later rounds every time they have an outburst.

    Eventhough they both are really good their lack of professionalism is a disgrace to the game. Hellmuth lost and he should get over it. The Fish is just an idiot who will never have any class.
