Steven Begleiter hails from Chappaqua, New York, and enters the final table of this year's Main Event third in chips with 29,885,000.

Having won his entry through a poker league in his home town, a portion of all his winnings get split up between the other players in that game. This will ensure a big cheering section at the final table in November.

Begleiter enjoys poker as a social activity and despite playing recreationally for low stakes he does take the game seriously.

He cut his teeth in home games and a few experience-building trips to Foxwoods Casino in Connecticut but feels he is outclassed in a field full of very experienced players.
