Jason Somerville on Coming Out, Poker and Happiness (Video)

The last 12 months have been very eventful for Jason Somerville.

Including his WSOP bracelet win last summer he's made more than $1 million playing tournament poker, but far more importantly he's taken big steps in his life towards being happy.

Earlier this year Somerville came out to the poker world as the first openly gay man in the game. And according to Jason it was the best day of his life.

We've been fans of Somerville's infectiously positive attitude and poker skills for years so to hear him say he's happier than ever since coming out is amazing. While we can't say we know what he went through, we can admire his courage and the example he's setting.

Hearing it directly from Somerville is an inspring experience and we feel privileged to have had the chance to shoot it.

Great for him. An inspiration and proud to see he sounds happy and content in life. What more can we all ask for than that? GL in the Main Jason.
