The Sunday Scoop: Brazilian Books Biggest Score

With major live tournaments finishing up in exotic locales like Vienna, Austria and Mashantucket, Connecticut it appeared many of the stars of the online poker scene took this Sunday off.

But the usual list of massive guarantees and bankroll building opportunities were still on the schedule and someone had to battle for all the glory and six figure Sunday scores available.

Brazilian Zareta took the battle as seriously as anyone on this Sunday, booking the day's biggest win. The PokerStars Sunday Million drew 8,523 players creating a 1.7 million prize pool with 250k for first.

Zareta got all the way to heads-up with marado86 before cutting a deal that would ensure both players earned over $200k, then went on to take the title and a little over $230,000.

A total of 4,680 players entered the $750k guaranteed Sunday Warm-up on PokerStars and a three-way chop made sure eventual winner Levan1971, kavindaaa and Catenaccio all added six figures to their bankrolls.

In the meantime, the $750k Guaranteed on Full Tilt drew 3,981 creating a $796k prize pool. FTOPS title holder chickface took the $140,967.21 win there.

Full Tilt's Sunday Brawl drew a respectable 2,629 ensuring eventual winner monkeybudgie would take home $106,737.40 for the win after getting past a final table that included Swedish pro Michael Tureniec.

And finally, Vanessa 'PrincessDonk' Peng took down UB's 200k guaranteed, besting a field of 953 players and a final table that included Alex "AJKHOOSIER1" Kamberis.
