JackPoker Flop Race Puts $500K on the Leaderboards

What if a poker flop wasn’t all that bad — this is the logic JackPoker employed when crafting its summer promotion. Here is what you need to know about the two-week long Flop Race.

Flop Race: The Basics

  • Promotional Period: July 22 to August 5
  • Prize Pool: $500,000 GTD
  • Formats: NL Hold’em, Omaha, Bomb Pots, Short Deck, and Rapid
  • Tiers: Three (Low, Medium, High)

How a Flop Could Be Worth $500,000 GTD

There are two separate flop races within the two week promotional period. The first ran from July 2 to July 28, while the second began on July 29 and will be running until August 5. Since the results of the first race don’t carry over to the second, players still have a chance to make a more than decent score.

To participate you have you:

  1. Log in and join the promotion through the promotional card.
  2. Select your tier: Low, Medium, or High
  3. Play one of the available promotional formats: NL Hold’em, Omaha, Bomb Pots, Short Deck, or Rapid
  4. Stack up as many leaderboard points as you can.

The math is simple — every flop you see earns 1 point within your leaderboard tier.

At the end of each week, the top 30 players will be awarded with a cash prize in Instant Cash. The $500,000 GTD prize pool is split across the three tiers:

TierStakePrize Pool
Low$0.05/$0.10$49,750
Medium$0.25/$0.50 $150,000
High$1.00/$2.00$300,000
