By Martin Derbyshire

Number 12 was in his sights, but it was not to be.

Phil Hellmuth had to settle for a near miss in the $2k Limit Hold'em event at the 2009 WSOP Saturday.

The Poker Brat ended a run to add to his record eleven bracelets in 17th place when his set of tens was beaten by a rivered flush.

The event did play to a final table that will play out at 2 p.m. Sunday with WSOP bracelet holder Rep Porter and EPT Grand Final finalist Marc Naalden headlining the final nine.

Event 37 - $10k Seven Card Stud Hi-Lo World Championship

Jeffrey Lisandro won his second bracelet of the 2009 WSOP and his third Stud bracelet overall, confirming the Aussie's status as one of the best Stud players on the planet.

The final table was chocked full of top players including Doyle Brunson, Abe Mossari and Mike Wattel.

Lisandro beat Farzad Rouhani, who won a Stud braclet in 2008, heads up for the title.

By the time it was all said and done just 117 remained in the hunt for the gold.

Play will resume at 2 p.m. PT Sunday.
