Jeschka started the final table with the third-largest stack. During the first hour and a half, he mostly played small and medium-sized pots while maintaining his stack.

Hannes Jeschka Storms Through the GGMillion$ Final Table

Toward the end of the second hour, Jeschka took over the chip lead. He defended the big blind with 3 2 against an early-position open from Vyacheslav Buldygin holding A 9 , then check-called the flop and turn on a board of 5 8 Q A 8 . Both players checked the river, and Jeschka won a 22 BB pot.

Jeschka eliminated Marco Perez in 7th place: AKo > JTo for a 9 BB pot.

At 6-handed, Jeschka went into full god mode. It looked as if he was being dealt cards from a short deck while everyone else was drawing from the muck. His VPIP was close to 100%, and his opponents simply couldn’t stop him.

He knocked out Vyacheslav Buldygin in 5th place: AQs > JTs for a 31 BB pot.

He then eliminated Vyacheslav Balaev in 3rd place: 95s > K8o for a 22 BB pot.

Jeschka entered heads-up with 91 BB against Juan Pardo Dominguez with 39 BB stack. The match lasted just five hands.

In the final hand, the effective stack was 42 BB. Preflop, Jeschka limped and Pardo raised to 3.5 BB. The board ran out Q 8 3 9 4 . Pardo bet 2.4 BB on the flop and Jeschka called. Both players checked the turn. On the river, Pardo shoved 33.3 BB into an 18.25 BB pot, and Jeschka called. At showdown, Jeschka tabled 10 Q , while Pardo showed A 7 .
