LLinusLLove was the real one, Isildur was not
LLinusLLove is the actual Linus Loeliger. Interestingly, he was down to a stack of just 1 big blind at the pre-final table stage but managed to spin it up.
Isildur is a “fake” from Brazil. His real name is unknown. This is a new nickname. His previous screen name was SlingShot. He already played heads-up in GGMillion$ late last year but failed to beat Hannes Jeschka.
How the action unfolded at the GGMillion$ final table
Isildur started the final table as the chip leader, while LLinusLLove began with the third-largest stack. Roeland Peeks was in second place. These three players essentially drove the action.
In the first 50 minutes, five players were eliminated. Four of them were knocked out by Roeland Peeks, and one by Linus Loeliger.
Four-handed play lasted for more than an hour. Eventually, Roeland Peeks eliminated Max Buschmann: AK > A6o (42 BB pot).
Three-handed play continued for another half hour. Linus’s stack dropped to 13 big blinds, but the Swiss poker pro then won three all-ins against Roeland Peeks: 77 > QJo, JTs > AQo, ATo > A5s. The final all-in ended Peeks’ run, and he finished in 3rd place.
The heads-up battle lasted another 40 minutes. In the penultimate hand, on a board of A 6 8 J 4 , Isildur rivered a set with 4 4 . Loeliger couldn’t fold A 5 and called a re-raise for nearly all of his chips.
