Kayhan Mokri Extends His Incredible Upswing With A Victory In The $250K WSOP Paradise Triton Invitational ($7.7M)

Kayhan Mokri reached the final table of the Triton Invitational as the chip leader and held the top spot all the way through. Here’s how the final table action unfolded — plus a look back at Mokri’s biggest wins both live and online.

Kayhan Mokri wins the record-breaking $250K NLH Triton Invitational

The tournament drew 133 entries — matching the Triton Invitational in Montenegro (though that buy-in was $200K).

Mokri began the final day with the biggest stack at 92 BB and kept the lead until the very end.

The entire final table lasted 4 hours. It took just 11 hands to go from 8-max to 3-max. Mokri knocked out Cong Pham in 8th place in a dramatic coinflip: 99 > AKs. Just look at this board:

Mokri eliminated three more opponents at the final table:
Jonathan Jaffe — 4th place: KQs > 99, 21.5 BB pot, king on the flop
Albert Daher — 3rd place: AKo > Q8o, 17 BB pot. This was Daher’s Triton debut. Interestingly, he was the one who invited Mokri to this tournament.

Heads-up play began with Mokri holding a 5-to-1 chip lead over Gabriel Alejandro Andrade. In the final hand, Andrade moved all-in with 9 5 on a Q 9 7 board. Mokri called with 9 7 for a 21 BB pot. This was also Andrade’s Triton debut.

“I keep showing up and I keep turning it into a win somehow”: Kayhan Mokri continues his insane heater, winning everything both online and live

This is the biggest cash of Mokri’s career, his third Triton title, and his first WSOP bracelet. His previous best score came in September, when he chopped the $150K NLH Triton Montenegro for $3,835,000.

Mokri shared his emotions in a post-win interview:

“I don’t know what’s going on to be honest. I’m very perplexed by the whole thing. I don’t know, I keep showing up and I keep turning it into a win somehow. I’m having the year of my life and honestly I’m very happy. I don’t know what to say.”

For the Norwegian pro, 2025 has been an exceptional year: he earned $12.9M in live MTTs (the same as Jesse Lonis).

Frankly, Mokri’s heater started back in 2024. Here are his biggest results:

  • $597K – 3rd in €25K EPT Monte Carlo (May 2024)
  • $1.5M – win in €100K EPT Barcelona (August 2024)
  • $750K – 1st, 2nd, and 5th in single-day $20K+ high rollers at EPT Cyprus (October 2024)
  • $1M — win in $30K NLH Triton Monte Carlo (November 2024)
  • $129K — win in €10K Mystery Bounty EPT Monte Carlo (April 2025)
  • $255K — win in €50K Bombay High Stakes Week Tallinn (August 2025)
  • $608K — win in €50K Super High Roller Second Chance EPT Barcelona (August 2025)
  • $3.8M — win in $150K NLH Triton Jeju (September 2025)

And that’s not all. Mokri’s cash game performance has been just as impressive.
In May, he won $250K on CoinPoker in a HU NL $100/200 match against Linus “LLinusLL0ve” Loeliger (Mokri plays under the nickname KayhanMok). He also became the biggest winner of the month, banking $250K on PokerStars.

In August, Mokri won an offline heads-up match with a €2M buy-in against Ossi Ketola.

In September, Mokri again made it into the top-2 best cash game players of the month, earning $212K on PokerStars at NL40K.

What a legend!
