29-year-old hospitality and real estate professional Aleksa Pavicevic decided to enter the tournament just a week before it started. Originally, he came to Montenegro to catch up with family and friends and have a good time.
I decided I’d just take a try. Honestly I expected to bust maybe four levels in, and if not then run up a stack and maybe try to win the whole thing. So it worked out.
Luck never left Aleksa Pavicevic throughout the entire final table of the $200K Triton Invitational
This was his third career Triton tournament — with no cashes in the previous two.
The final table lasted only three hours. Pavicevic entered the 9-max final second in chips and remained near the top throughout the whole session.
The madness began during 4-handed play. Pavicevic, sitting on the small blind with 55 BB, shoved into Erik Wasserson’s big blind (15 BB) and got called. Showdown: Q 5 for Pavicevic, A 5 for Wasserson. The board ran out Q 8 4 J 10
On the very next hand, a $1.4M collision occurred — that was the pay jump between 3rd and 2nd places.
Chip stacks at that moment:
- Aleksa Pavicevic – 73 BB
- Javid Ismailov – 71 BB
- Seth Davies – 13 BB
Kings. Aces. What started as a quiet three-handed grind turned into the kind of chaos that’s forever etched into Triton Poker history. You couldn’t script it—one hand that rewrote the endgame.#TritonPoker #TritonInvitational #HighStakes pic.twitter.com/vo3lIzHrZQ

Seth Davies, who started the final day with just 6 BB, managed to reach heads-up. However, he was massively outchipped — nearly 1-to-11. No deal was discussed.
At one point, Davies managed to even the stacks.
In the final hand, the effective stack was 42 BB. Limped pot.
Flop came K 7 3 — Davies made two pair with K 3 , both players checked.
Turn: A . Davies check-raised to 9 BB.
River: 10 . Davies led for 6 BB, leaving 28 BB behind. Pavicevic shoved. After a minute in the tank, Davies called and saw 5 3 .

Trophy Hunter Dominykas Mikolaitis Wins $50K Event for $1,258,000

At the start of the year, Dominykas Mikolaitis made a promise to his wife — this year would be all about bringing home trophies.
I’m more of a trophy guy than a money guy, so this means everything to me.
Alongside the long-awaited trophy, Mikolaitis also secured his career-best cash.
He entered the final table 4th in chips. During 6-max play, he was down to just 7 BB — but then the comeback began. First, A A > K 6 vs. David Peters, then K K > A Q vs. Danilo Velasevic. He climbed back to 24.5 BB.
Lady luck stayed with Mikolaitis until the very end. In 3-handed play, he sent David Peters to the rail. Mikolaitis opened the BTN with A K , Peters defended his BB with K 3 and 10 BB. The board ran out 10 4 3 – Mikolaitis c-bet 1 BB and got shoved on. Turn: 7 , River: 9
Heads-up began with Mikolaitis holding 53 BB and Alex Kulev 27 BB. The winner was decided on the very first hand. Kulev shoved with A 10 vs. A 8 . Mikolaitis paired his 8 on the flop, Kulev picked up a straight draw on the turn, but bricked the river.
