Top Cash Game Players September 2025

Top Cash Game Players September 2025

Together with StatName, we continue to cover the results of the best cash game players across different stakes and rooms over the past month. We try to highlight interesting patterns and standout performances at every limit, from NL10 all the way up to the overall rankings.

But first, as always, a few important notes:

  • StatName tracks net profit at cash tables. Rakeback, leaderboard rewards, and promotional bonuses are not included in the statistics.
  • StatName only tracks results at regular cash tables (fast-fold tables are excluded).
  • StatName data may differ slightly from your HUD due to import inaccuracies, but the sample sizes remain representative and give a reliable picture of player performance.

Is It True That September Is a Top Month Not Only for MTT Grinders but Also for Cash Game Players?

There’s a time to cast stones and a time to gather them — poker is no exception. Every tournament player has two especially important months each year:

  • May (when SCOOP runs on PokerStars and GGWF on GGPoker)
  • September (when WCOOP runs on PokerStars and WSOP Online on GGPoker)

These two months are the high season in poker, when the biggest prize pools are at stake. But they’re also the time when cash game players record their highest monthly profits.

To prove it, we took the results of the top players at each stake and compared them with the previous month. Spoiler: in September, players really did make significantly more money than in the month before.

NL/PL10: morlockz Won 50 Stacks More Than Last Month’s Top Player

StatName September 2025: NL/PL10

morlockz (PS) won $1.2K over 4.8K hands at NL10. For comparison, j3nor_20 (PS) won $783 in August. If we look at the total winnings of the top-15 players, it was $7,440 in August and $11,788 in September.
As always, our old friends Jelieva (PS) and MeTaJIJlucT (PS) are among the top finishers.

NL/PL25: 4 Players Recorded Over $2K in Profit

StatName September 2025: NL/PL25

That’s an excellent result. For comparison: in August, only one player managed to post a $2.4K profit. All others made less than $1.2K that month.

The September leaderboard was dominated by PokerStars players — both Omaha grinders and Hold’em regulars:

  • Wizzraise: $2.5K at PL25
  • gelik32: $2.3K at NL25
  • -ethereal-66: $2.3K at PL25
  • corsi22: $2K at NL25

Let’s compare the total profit of all top-15 players in September and August. In September, the total profit reached $26.8K; in August — $17.5K.

By the way, you can track an unlimited number of players for free on StatName up to NLH/PLO25.

NL/PL50: The Players in First and Second Place Earned Twice as Much as Last Month’s Top Two

StatName September 2025: NL/PL50

symkalaila (PS) scored $4.6K in profit, while Ospiel2632 (PS) made $4.2K. For comparison, the top three players in August each won around $2.1K. Overall profit for NL50 players in September nearly doubled — $43.4K compared to $24.2K in August.

NL/PL100: DRACOO84 Won Twice as Much in September as Usual Top-1

StatName September 2025: NL/PL100

Dracoo84 (PS) reached $9.4K profit — the highest monthly result of 2025 so far. Typically, the best NL100 players show profits around $4.4K–5K. So both vadikeee (PS) and ka100pka527 (PS), who finished second and third, performed better than the top NL100 players from previous months.

NL/PL200: The Only Stake That Breaks the Pattern

StatName September 2025: NL/PL200

At all limits up to NL200, the players at the top of the leaderboard either set a new yearly record or came close to it. For example, pyka 6ora won $14K in March.

But winning $11K isn’t bad either. What’s even more interesting is that the player behind the nickname zilbee is Matheus Zilberknop — a two-time WCOOP 2025 champion. He claimed titles in the $109 HORSE ($5.2K) and $109 NLO8 ($5K) events.

Results at Limits From NL/PL500 and Higher

Overall: Gladiatauren Tops September Overall Rankings

StatName September 2025: Overall

On the 2+2 forum, one user described this player as follows:

Gladiatauren is the Chilean endboss himself (not actually from Chile just lived there when setting up his account IIRC). He played in my game during covid on occasion but always has been v v tough. Hes also a bumhunting little cuck and youll see him all the way down at 1/2 if the right player is there.

In second place is our old friend Kayhan “KayhanMok” Mokri. September turned out to be one of the most successful months of his career — a six-figure profit and a top-2 finish in the online cash rankings are just the cherry on top. A couple of weeks ago, Mokri also set a new personal best in live tournaments by winning the $150K NLHE Triton Jeju II (*$3,835,059).
