Kayhan Mokri Tops the Leaderboard of the Best Cash Game Players of May 2025

Together with StatName, we continue to cover the results of the best cash game players across different stakes and rooms over the past month. We try to highlight interesting patterns and standout performances at every limit, from NL10 all the way up to the overall rankings.
But first, as always, a few important notes:
- StatName tracks net profit at cash tables. Rakeback, leaderboard rewards, and promotional bonuses are not included in the statistics.
- StatName only tracks results at regular cash tables (fast-fold tables are excluded).
- StatName data may differ slightly from your HUD due to import inaccuracies, but the sample sizes remain representative and give a reliable picture of player performance.
NL/PL10: Jelieva Wins 130 Stacks
Jelieva (PokerStars) appeared among the top players at NL/PL10 in both March and April 2025. But in May, he truly hit his peak, posting $1,300 in profit over a staggering 70,000 hands.

In second place is Raise__ (888poker), with an equally impressive $1,100 profit over a record-breaking 86K hands. No other player in our leaderboards has played such a massive volume in a single month.
NL/PL25: Vegetarian93 Keeps Dominating the Limit
Vegetarian93 (PokerStars) also made our top lists in January and April 2025. This player has been grinding cash games for over 12 years. May turned out to be his best month of the year so far: $2.3K profit over 29K hands.

Also back in the top is April’s best performer, Xydou88 (PokerStars), with $1.7K profit. Last month, he took down $3K.

NL/PL50: lateralpoker Crushes Omaha Tables
Topping the $0.25/0.50 leaderboard is Omaha regular lateralpoker (PokerStars), who earned $3K over 11K hands with a massive winrate of 56.3 bb/100.

Two other PLO players also made the list: Indeko-plus (PokerStars) with $2.2K profit, and fekasteve (888poker), who earned $1.6K with one of the biggest winrates of all — 69.4 bb/100.
NL/PL100: Two Different Paths to the Top
There are two ways to lead the rankings: grind tens of thousands of hands or simply run hot. vadikeee (PokerStars) took the first path, putting in 68K hands with a modest 7.2 bb/100 winrate, but the biggest profit at this limit — $4.9K.
Meanwhile, GodofGambles (888poker) may have “divine backing”: he placed second while playing 8 times fewer hands and still making $3.4K. In poker, sometimes it’s all about good timing (or good table selection).

NL/PL200: MuUkR Dominates Both Cash and Tournaments
Most regulars specialize in either cash games or tournaments — not both. But there are exceptions.

MuUkR (PokerStars) topped the leaderboard at this stake with $12K in profit. But he didn’t limit himself to cash. During SCOOP, he placed 7th in Event 89-M: $215 NLHE PKO Bounty Builder, banking another $6.2K. The other players in our rankings focused solely on cash games.
NL/PL500: Unknown Player tjoooh Leads The Limit
It might sometimes feel like the same players dominate all leaderboards. But not at NL/PL500. This month’s top performer was tjoooh (888poker), who played 4.4K hands at PL500 and won $14K. Nothing is known about this player — not even any tournament appearances.

NL/PL1K & NL/PL2K: iPoker Network Players Take Over the High Stakes
Up to this point, our rankings were mostly dominated by players from PokerStars and 888poker. But at the higher stakes, iPoker Network players broke through.

PL2K action was particularly intense, with three iPoker players topping the list:
Limit | Player (Room) | Profit | Hands | Winrate (bb/100) |
---|---|---|---|---|
NL1K | fireStart333r (iPoker/RedStar) | $28K | 14K | 17.9 |
PL1K | Player2 (iPoker/RedStar) | $20K | 2.7K | 67.5 |
PL2K | omgdivergent (iPoker/RedStar) | $48K | 2.6K | 81.5 |
PL2K | Jetaa (iPoker/RedStar) | $36K | 2.1K | 75.9 |
PL2K | bladelast794 (iPoker/RedStar) | $22K | 665 | 146.4 |
