The last turbo flight, started at 21:00 CET, will be the last chance for players to qualify themselves for the second day of the Main Event. 10 Players can buy-in for just €50, and the winner of the flip gets a Main Event ticket worth € 550. Jonatan Wedde is mostly known for his Twitch Channel. Alongside his brother Oskar Wedde, who already managed to bag a stack in yesterday’s Day 1c. He will go as table captain on stream today, together with fellow countrymen Niklas Klein, and Mikkel Jensen.
In live tournaments Jonatan does not have any titles in his possession just yet, perhaps this will change during the Coolbet Open Main Event.

On the second floor, the 8-game is being played. With 38 players on the list, it is to be called very decent. The guatantee of € 4,750 already has been reached, and late registration is still open for another four levels of 25 minutes each.
We arrived at table #21 when there was around 12,000 in the pot. The flop was spread out on the table, 7 Q 3 , on which Reuven Elkeslasy bet out 6,000. It was Johan Rolfsson Hannen from Iceland who decided to make the call. Both of the players saw a 2 on the turn. Elkeslasy moved all of his remaining chips into the middle (18.800), and Johan Rolffson Hannen went into the tank.
Going into the tank for a duration of at least five minutes is quite a while. But not a single player decided to ask for the clock on him, which indicated that Rolffson Hannen must have had a hard choice which was understood. Eventually he folded and Elkeslasy took down a nice pot.
After the hand, talks were done by the two players. .Elkeslasy eventually mentioned he had pocket 7’s, and Rolfsson Hannen had Ace-Queen.
The Coolbet Open is getting already close to reach its guaranteed prize pool of €300,000. Included in the players who entered the tournament, there are around 100-200 qualifiers from Coolbet itself. Today we are going to have the last two opening flights of the Coolbet Open Main Event. Expectations are set high today, as the locals usually turn up to try and accumulate chips for Day 2. Currently, there are already 83 entries on the scoreboard for Day 1e. In the evening as per usual, another turbo flight will be played out.
Not only the Main Event is on the schedule today, many side events will take place. The 8-Game is extremely popular in Scandinavia, so we expect there a massive prize pool as well.
