MPP/EAPT Grand Final Cyprus!
There's only a couple days left before the Mediterranean Poker Party lands in Cyprus for its grand live poker series (May 2-12). With its absence from the live poker calendar last year, the Mediterranean Poker Party is coming back with a bang! Buy-ins are going from $1,100 all the way up to $51,000 for the flagship events, where the guaranteed prize pools are insane.
Online qualifiers are running on GGPoker, while live qualifiers are available at various locations, including the Dusk Till Dawn Poker Club in Nottingham (UK). A couple weeks back, it was online poker streamer and player Brandon Sheils who drew two packages worth $10K during a special organized Mystery Bounty event.
Even though one of these packages was drawn for one of his poker buddies, the packages is went to Brandon all the way! We will definitely be following Brandon during the MPP/EAPT event in Cyprus. I

Eric Seidel: The Legendary Journey
To be called one of the legend's of poker is a title not given to many poker players. Eric Seidel, in the game for more than 35 years, is still playing on the highest tournament levels. It doesn't matter if it's a $1K Main Event, or a $50K Dealer's Choice WSOP event, Seidel is often responsible for at least one of the entries in those tournaments.

The World Festival 2024 Schedule Is Out!
Online poker players have eagerly been awaiting more details about GGPoker's upcoming World Festival 2024 series. After reveling the dates, May 5 - June 11, players were curious to see what GGPoker still had up its sleeve.
Having already confirmed the guaranteed prize pool would increase to $50,000,000 compared to the last year, all eyes were set on April 25th, when GGPoker had promised to reveal more about the events.
GGPoker has thought about every single poker player this time around. With four tiers, multiple buy-in levels, there are tournaments in the schedule for every type of poker player. From what we know now, there will be three tournaments with a guaranteed prize pool of $10,000,000.

From Cards to Crowns: Triumph at the WPT Global Spring Festival
WPT Global started off the year with introducing their new President Alex Scott and promising to make a difference to the poker eco-system. One thing poker players around the world often tend to forget and/or simply don't know, is the rake from tournaments and cash games.
So, have you ever thought about giving it back to the community? At WPT Global they are big fans of their loyal members, and organized a promotion in March to give back the rake through freerolls. In April, they made it even more interesting as all the gross from their tournaments didn't count any rake.
