Become a WPT Champion During the Spring Festival
WPT Global is one of those online poker operators who is making big moves in 2024. With the Spring Festival coming up, yet another important chapter in is heating up for them. As we know, online players often tend to stay within their comfort zone. Well, WPT Global is becoming an operator who is nudging players to step out of their comfort zone.

Spring Festival Highlights
One of the highlights of this online poker series is, without a doubt, the $500,000 GTD Spring Festival Championship Event. Another option would be to participate in the $22 buy-in Mini Championship, going with a guaranteed prize pool of $150,000.
Still, the real eye-catcher of the series is the $1,000,000 GTD WPT Championship Event. While the buy-in of $3,500 might be on the higher end, satellites and other promotions for this event will be running around the clock.
Value Alert
Any Spring Festival Champion will automatically be awarded with a seat to the Champion of Champions Freeroll. Here, players will fight for a WPT Passport worth $12,400, with a total of $50,000 up for grabs in this extra value event.
What is an online series without a leaderboard? WPT Global will be awarding points during the series and if you end up on top at the end of the series, you will get a share of the $100,000 in cash prizes, MTT tickets, and live Passport packages.
'Rake-Free' Tournaments
An important thing to take with you is that the rake-free tournaments structure will be handled in the same way as their previous promotion for rake-free tournaments in March 2024. All paid rake by players will be given back by the matter of freeroll tournaments.
The first $150,000 will be allocated to the earlier mentioned $100K leaderboard and the $50K Champion for Champions Freeroll, while all other rakes will be divided over Gold, Silver, and Bronze Freerolls (50%/30%/20%). On an additional note, the only tournaments where you can gather points for this will be marked with # in the tournament lobby.

WPT Global Player of The Year
