Roy Winston won Event 7 at the Five Diamond World Poker Classic.

2007 Borgata Poker Open champion Roy Winston won Event 7 of the sixth annual Five Diamond World Poker Classic at the Bellagio.

The $2,000 No-Limit Texas Hold'em tournament attracted 362 players, yielding a total prize pool of $702,280.

Roy Winston, who finished 10th in Event 5, earning $11,160, defeated Robert Stain heads-up to win the title and $230,365 in prize money.

Several other top pros made the money: Dan Alspach finished third ($71,060); Jared Hamby ninth ($10,830); Michael Mizrachi 10th ($8,120); Men "The Master" Nguyen 14th ($6,770); Joe Sebok 16th ($5,415) and "Miami" John Cernuto 20th ($4,060).

Chris McCormack made his way through the 508-strong starting field, and finally defeated Theo Tran to claim the $128,455 top prize.

Big names in the money: Layne Flack eighth ($11,420), his third cash of the series; Young Phan 16th ($5,710), and Arnold Spee 19th ($5,710).
