PokerStars, Sports Fans, Toronto Raptors and Maple Leafs Get Up Close and Personal at Home Openers Celebrations
Poker and sports go hand-in-hand, and PokerStars recently further established their sporting associations in Canada by celebrating home opening games with Toronto Raptors and Maple Leafs fans in an epic Union Station takeover.
Fans were able to get up close and personal and see the partnership between PokerStars and the Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment (MLSE) come to life, thanks to epic giveaways, fan interaction and team mascot appearances. As the season progresses there’ll be more to come, with fans continuing to be the recipients of such surprises, and they can look forward to other special opportunities around key moments and games.
Multiple Entertainment Combinations as an Aim
PokerStars officially launched its partnership with MLSE, alongside FanDuel Sportsbook, earlier this year, the aim being to offer both sports and poker fans in Ontario a combination of entertainment via leading sports, poker and casino gaming experiences.
Tom Warren, PokerStars Marketing Director, had this to say of the partnership: “We are always looking for ways to make the experience for our customers better, and as a leading gaming brand in the newly regulated Ontario market, we couldn’t think of a better way to do this than by partnering with the Toronto teams...
