Improved PokerStars Galactic Series With an Overall €10M Guarantee!
Autumn 2023 just became a lot more exciting for poker players! During September, PokerStars Galactic Series will return and this time it’s bigger and better than ever before. With an overall €10M guarantee during the festival, there’s no doubt that the series will attract the vast majority of the Southern Europe PokerStars players.
What’s to Expect?
The festival will run between the 3rd-24th of September this year and will consist of some classic PokerStars tournaments as well as some exclusive events for the series. The legendary Sunday Million kicks off the series Sunday 3rd with its €1M guarantee, and it’s not an uneducated guess that the PokerStars flagship tournament will become one of its biggest editions of 2023 during the Galactic Series.
Another date to mark in the poker calendar is the 10th of September, when the Spicy 50 will see its place in the PokerStars lobby. Except for the €250 000 guarantee, there’s also a confirmed €50 000 first place payout to the tournament winner.
But of course, there’s also the Galactic Series Main Event! With a whopping €400 000 guarantee, the Main Event will surely be an attractive tournament for the players hunting for the prestigious title. The Galactic Series Main Event Day 1 will be played September 17th.
These tournaments and many, many more is what will make the Galactic Series one of the, if not the biggest, highlight of the poker year for the Southern Europe PokerStars players. Qualification and Satellites
Even though it’s a good month until the series kicks off, players will have the opportunity to qualify in reasonable time. The Galactic Series Sales is somewhat of a “qualification series” prior to the main series and will be held between August 27th and September 2nd. It will allow players to qualify for the Galactic Series events for as little as 10 mere cents. Players would be very wise to be on the look-out for these qualification tournaments in the South European PokerStars client; with stages starting from such relatively small buy-ins, there is for sure a good opportunity to turn a considerable profit if one would be successful in receiving a seat to, for example, the Main Event.
Yes, PokerStars has indeed provided us players with another interesting tournament series again. Since the site launched way back in 2001, PokerStars has only improved, and the Galactic Series has been an appreciated element in the online poker calendar for a couple of years now. It says something about the series’ popularity that it last year also made its debut on the PokerStars India client, which saw Aditya Singh taking the Main Event title. For this feat he received around €16 000, which, even though a quite so respectable amount, will be significantly larger during the 2023 Galactic Series for the Southern European players.
