'My biggest passion outside of playing poker is in teaching poker strategy.'

Team PokerStars Pro Vanessa Rousso is headed to New Hampshire.

Currently sitting fourth on the Women's all-time money list with more than $2.4 million in career live tournament earnings, Rousso will share some of her winning strategies with local poker enthusiasts at her Big Slick Boot Camp set for the Granite State Poker Club Apr. 5.

The six-hour camp is being hailed as an instructional experience for players who want to optimize their playing skill and take their game to the next level. The cost is $299.

Rousso first gained recognition in 2006 when she became the youngest woman ever to make a World Series of Poker circuit event final table.

Last year she made waves again defeating some of the biggest names in poker and becoming the first woman to make it to a the final two at the 2009 NBC Heads-Up event.

Including online poker winnings, she has earned more than $3.6 million in her career to date.

Rousso has developed a poker curriculum that allows participants to learn high-level poker strategy and game theory in an interactive learning environment, that incorporates learn-by doing simulations and educational sessions.

"My biggest passion outside of playing poker is in teaching poker strategy. I love watching that light bulb go off in my students' minds when they discover something new," Rousso said.

"It is very exciting when their confidence level improves as a result of implementing what they have learned at my boot camp."

Of the 50 players who recently attended Rousso's Boot Camp at the Beau Rivage in Biloxi, Mississippi, eight cashed in tournaments raking in over $50,000.

Last year, one of the Team PokerStars Pro's students took home $40,000 from the WSOP Main Event.
