Why Do You Need to Report Cheaters on WPT Global via Email

Rewarding Integrity in Poker (RIP) is an internal WPT Global program designed to reward active members of the poker community for helping to identify cheaters.

It works like this:

• The player notifies the room’s team — via the in-lobby feature or email — about suspicious behavior by opponents.
• The poker room team reviews the submitted information for any violations.
• If the violation is confirmed, the player who reported it receives monetary compensation.

The room checks each report for malicious intent or misleading content. If such issues are found, the report is not processed.

However, once a violation has been confirmed, WPT Global will take action:

• Penalize the cheaters
• Provide compensation to those affected

And only after that it will issue a bounty to the person who provided the information from any remaining funds, as a token of appreciation for their assistance in resolving the matter.

How to Report Suspicious Behavior From Within the Table

You can report suspicions of unfair play to the poker room directly from the table by clicking on Hands in the bottom-left corner.

After this, the full hand history of this table will appear. Here, choose a suspicious hand and click on the exclamation mark inside a speech bubble above the miniature version of the table.

In the window that appears, you need to select the players you would like to be checked by WPT Global’s security team, enter your email address to receive the results of the check, and click Submit to send your request for verification.

So Why, Then, Initiate a Fair Game Check via Email?

The trick with the in-lobby report system on WPT Global is that it is free only for the first time you submit a hand for fair game verification. Each following report has a price — $25 deducted directly from the player’s account.

This mechanism exists to prevent potential abuse of the system, including actions intended to harm innocent players.

It is all the more interesting that, as of October 23rd, 2026, no such fees are charged when submitting a report via email to [email protected]. Therefore, it is ultimately more practical for players to submit all complaints after the very first one via email or even through their affiliate manager at the poker room.
