Missoula, Montana’s Tyson “POTTERPOKER” Marks won the biggest prize in online poker history Tuesday.

Marks collected $2,278,097.50 after running away with the $5,200 buy-in PokerStars World Championship of Online Poker main event.

The two-day event started Monday with 2,443 creating a $12,215,000 prize pool, making it the richest tournament in online history.

A total of 271 pushed through to Tuesday already past the 306-player money bubble.

By the time they were down to the final table of nine, Marks had built a massive chip lead and never really looked back.

He completely dominated the final table and once they got three-handed, had 37 million in chips to joeysweetp's 4.94 million and Russian_nuts' 4.27 million.

joeysweetp busted Russian_nuts to get heads up, but facing a seemingly insurmountable deficit, he eventually shoved a straight draw into the turned nut flush to bow out second and hand the 2010 WCOOP main event title to Marks.

Marks, an online MTT regular, who plays under the names JUMP PUTT, SU1C1DEJACK, and MISSOUKAJOE on other online sites, already had over $1.3 million in career online tournament earnings.

He also has $159,618 in career live tournament earnings including a cash in the 2009 WSOP Main Event and two prelim wins at the 2009 L.A. Poker Classic.

The best finish by a well know pro was Bryn "BrynKenney" Kenney in 17th.

Jason "JP OSU" Potter finished 21st, Mike "Timex" McDonald 30th, Danny “THE__D__RY” Ryan 69th and Sorel "zangbezan24" Mizzi 72nd.
