Innovative online poker room, PokerShare.com, has re-launched much to the delight of online poker players everywhere, it was announced Tuesday. Following the resolution of its legal woes with former operator, Excapsa Software, Inc., PokerShare.com spent four months analyzing new software and signed on with the Tain network. The poker room is currently available in Beta mode exclusively for existing players.
Max Wright, PokerShare.com's Poker Room Manager, said, "We're excited to finally return to the market, we have a great new product which I'm sure will be a hit with all of our old players. I want to get as much feedback as possible before we open the doors to new players next month."
When PokerShare.com launched in 2005, it offered players the chance to share their success simply by playing. "PokerShare.com was the first poker site in the world to offer its players the opportunity to share in its success," said Lucan Toh, CEO of PokerShare.com.
"We're extremely proud of this and very excited about welcoming back our loyal customers on the Tain poker network. We're looking forward to a long and prosperous relationship with Tain."
PokerShare.com chose the Tain network, says Toh, "because of its focus on, and high concentration of, 'real money' players, as well as its innovative user interface and corporate ambitions." Also significant is the fact that the network is one of the largest in Europe, routinely hosting 6,000 players at peak times.
Roberto Savio, Director of Sales and Marketing for Tain, said: "This is the beginning of a long and exciting relationship. PokerShare.com is a site that, above everything else, puts the customer first; and that fits in with our overall philosophy. I'm looking forward to a healthy future with PokerShare.com."
