With the World Poker Tour in Vienna, the World Series of Poker Circuit in San Diego and a host of action online, it was a busy week in the PokerListings news room.

A few smaller stories may have slipped through the cracks, but fortunately, we've compiled them all below in our weely Poker News in Brief feature.

This week, the WSOP champ heads to Macau, the WSOPC returns to St. Louis, 888 is offering iPad2's and a whole lot more.

Macau Millions

The 2011 Macau Millions drew 230 players to the PokerStars Macau poker room at Casino Grand Lisboa over its first two starting days this week.

With seven starting days, the HKD $1,500,000 Guarantee event is attempting to become the first tournament in Asia to break the 1,000-entrants mark.

2010 WSOP Main Event champion Jonathan Duhamel, Defending Macau Millions champion Justin Chan, Team PokerStars Pros Bryan Huang, Raymond Wu, and Marcel Luske are expected to play this week.

Day 1C will go off Wednesday and the event will run through April 10.

“We`re on course to comfortably break last year`s 741-entry record by Day 1E,” said Danny McDonagh, PokerStars Macau Operations Manager. “But clearly we wouldn`t be satisfied with just another record. The PokerStars Macau team was challenged with the 1,000-entry goal from the start. 741 entries is great but reaching 4-figures is an achievement that`s truly remarkable.”
