Eighteen months have passed since PKR launched its poker site. During that time the poker site has seen a steady rise in sign-ups and users, and now this week it passed the 10,000 concurrent user mark.

The record-achievement for the site was reached Sunday, Jan. 6 at 8:52 p.m.

According to PKR, 2007 saw the poker site go from strength to strength, reaching levels of success that has silenced skeptics of the site.

"A year of high-profile marketing, together with the launch of a national TV advertising campaign, has left PKR as the most talked about poker room in the world," said PKR in a press release.

"PKR's recent TV advertising campaign couple with a truly unique product has accelerated our already phenomenal growth and takes our community to the next level," said Simon Prodger, PKR marketing director.

PKR features real-time 3D graphics in its online poker site, providing what it calls an unparalleled and previously unseen level of realism in online poker.

"With over 1.3 million registered users, PKR is the world's fastest growing online poker site," said the poker site in a release. "Watch out for PKR in 2008."
