PckAces is good at Bodog Poker Open Event 3
Another day at the Bodog Poker Open and another Bodog regular is winning a ton of cash.
BPO Event 3 was a re-buy event and 270 paid their $110 to get in on some No-Limit Hold'em action. The prize pool was an impressive $102,800 which included an extra $10,000 that Bodog threw into the mix.
As with most re-buy events the prize pool ballooned beyond the standard amount with numerous players buying back into the tournament.
PckAces, another Bodog regular, took full advantage of the situation and beat ibakitup in heads-up play to earn a $28,270 payday. PckAces usually sticks to cash and sit-and-gos at Bodog but he may want to start branching out into MTTs after his memorable victory at the BPO.
In addition to PckAces, Bodog regular AlCarmo was also at the final table and managed to finish fourth for $8,224. AlCarmo has been cleaning up at MTTs over the past week and shows no signs of slowing down.
Next up for the BPO is Event 4, $200+$15, which begins tonight at 8 p.m. (EST). Yet again Bodog will be kicking in an extra $10,000 to the prize pool to give the tournament exceptional value. Players can satellite into any of the preliminary events through qualifiers that run twice daily.
We're getting closer and closer to the $500 buy-in BPO main event. With Bodog chipping in an extra $25,000 it's sure to be one of the most popular online events in recent weeks.
