Russian Beast Strikes Again: Martirosian Takes Down Two Mini Phil’s at Once

While other players on ACR Poker were battling in the Venom PKO for a shot at reaching the final table, super high roller Artur “AlwaysWithNuts” Martirosian chose to conquer the Mini Phil’s Thrill tournaments — earning him a total of $81,552 in a single session.

Artur’s Road Through Phil’s So Far

Since the launch of the tournaments named after WPN CEO Phil Nagy, Artur Martirosian’s results have been a mixed bag.

On one hand, between July 20th, 2025, and October 11th, 2026, he reached the final tables of various Phil’s events seven times, securing over $800K in prize money.

October 11th, 2026$10,300 Phil’s Thrill2nd$93,100

On the other hand, there were more than 60 Sunday $10,300 Phil’s Thrill tournaments alone during that period — and that’s not even counting the Mini Phil’s or additional events of the same name held outside the regular schedule.

Artur missed the mark far more often than he hit it, but whenever he did manage to land a shot, it would more than cover the expenses he’d incurred for that particular tournament.

But on October 18th, 2026, the situation finally turned out to be nothing short of epic when he won both of the Sunday Mini Phil’s Thrill events — one in Hold’em and one in Omaha.

The First Victory Came With a Deal

The $2,650 Mini Phil’s Thrill PLO 6-Max (49 entries) required two bullets and a great deal of discipline from Artur to reach the final table — and he didn’t just scrape in with a few remaining chips; he arrived with a substantial stack as a second chip leader.

He kept it up to 3-max and then began to methodically chip away at his opponents, eventually taking the lead.

Once Chris “2rich2care” Hunichen was eliminated in third place, collecting $19,140 — Artur decided not to prolong the match and instantly struck a deal with his final opponent.

The resulting payouts were as follows:

  • AlwaysWithNuts — $32,460
  • StickyMinaj — $29,573

After that, Artur was finally able to focus entirely on the second final in the discipline he specializes in.

The Second Victory Followed With a Dominance

In the $2,650 Mini Phil’s Thrill $200K Gtd (88 entries), things played out quite differently for Artur. He reached the final table on a single bullet, arriving with the largest stack by far — he was the clear chip leader.

After that, the game unfolded in three phases. For the first hour, Artur managed to maintain his lead, but then he hit a rough patch — for 25 consecutive minutes, as the table shrank from 7 players down to 3, he was dealt such poor starters that he couldn’t play a single hand effectively, causing his stack to simply melt away.

Eventually, he found himself right at the precipice of elimination, sitting in third place — and then, the switch flipped once again. Two successful all-ins in a row — and suddenly only two players remained with very similar stacks.

The heads-up ultimately lasted just 6 hands, with the decisive one occurring right in the middle, leaving his opponent with a mere 4 blinds.

From that moment on, the fate of the tournament was sealed. Soon after, Artur finished off his opponent and claimed the winner’s prize — $48,912.
