PartyGaming announced this week that is has become a constituent member of the FTSE4Good Index, which means the company's shares will be in both the FTSE Good UK and Good Europe Indexes starting on Monday.
The FTSE Group started the Good Index series in 2001. To be eligible, a company must meet criteria that include working toward environmental sustainability, developing positive relationships with stakeholders, upholding and supporting universal human rights, ensuring good supply chain labor standards and countering bribery.
The FTSE4Good Index Series' main objectives are to provide a tool for investors to identify and invest in companies that meet globally recognized corporate responsibility standards.
The Series also provides asset managers with a socially responsible investment benchmark and a tool for socially responsible investment products. Plus the FTSE4 Good Index Series contributes to the development of responsible business practice around the world.

The FTSE4Good works in association with the Ethical Investment Research Service and its network of international partners to research companies' corporate responsibility performance.
They employ a variety of mechanisms to access the most up-to-date relevant data, including scrutiny of annual reports, research of company Web sites, written questionnaires and other publicly available material, and they also liaise with companies where appropriate.
Fact sheets detailing the information gathered by EIRS are regularly distributed to companies as well for updating and review.
PartyGaming was founded in 1997 and offers a variety of online gaming through an integrated Party-branded platform and other secondary brands. Its main sites include PartyPoker as well as a casino, bingo and sports betting sites.
