Kavin86 takes FTOPS VI event 14

Over 873 players turned out to get in on Pot-Limit Omaha with re-buys action but in the end Kavin86 was the only player left standing.

Although Event 14 was technically hosted by Eddie Scharf, another Full Tilt pro stole the show and had a great chance to win the entire thing. Clonie Gowen outlasted all her Full Tilt teammates and managed to place 10th, narrowly missing out on the final table but still earning $3,199 for her efforts. Maybe we'll see Gowen playing a few more Omaha events in the future.

The only other Full Tilt pro who actually cashed was Steve Zolotow who finished 73rd for $673. No word on where Scharf finished.

As one might expect the live pros were eclipsed by well-known online players. PearlJammed, MrSmokey1 and Gbecks all made it into the money. Tom Dwan, also known as durrr, managed to come in 35th for $1,145. That of course pales in comparison to his recent $324,244 payday at the World Poker Finals. Another World Poker Finals player, Darren Nelson, also known as Dabadestchic managed to place fifth in this event which was good for $21,050.

Also starting on Saturday was one of Full Tilt's rare two-day events. This time it was Event 13 No-Limit Hold'em, hosted by John Juanda. Check back on Monday as we'll have results from that event as well as Event 15 and the Main Event. So much FTOPS goodness!
