International flavors abound at PokerStars events

PokerStars may have been focusing on starting up the Battle of the Planets on Sunday, but that didn't keep players from around the world from their usual trek to the Sunday tournament tables at the poker site.

Once again, players showed up in droves for the Sunday Warm-Up, the Sunday $5,200 Freezout, the Sunday Hundred Grand, the High Stakes Showdown and, of course, the Sunday Million.

Hundreds of thousands of dollars were on the line for the winners of a few of those events, including the Sunday Million, which brought in enough for Vaga_Lion, from the United Kingdom, to pick up more than $177,000 for his win.
