He’s been out of the poker limelight for nearly a year but Tom “durrrr” Dwan sat down with organizers from the WPT Philippines Triton $200k Super High Roller for an interview earlier this week.

There wasn’t a lot of ground-breaking material in the interview as a rather tired-looking Dwan rehashed how he got into poker and gave some very basic answers to poker strategy questions.

Dwan did say that he has been spending a lot of time in Manila over the last three months and gambling a considerable amount.

As expected Dwan confirmed that he’ll be playing the $200k Super High Roller at WPT Philippines, which kicks off on Jan 3.

Here’s a look at the interview:

Ivey, Trickett, Cates Confirmed for $200k SHR

The roster for the $200k Super High Roller in Manila is starting to look pretty full.

Earlier this year PokerKingClub announced a number of businessmen that were set to play the event and last week WPT confirmed some of the biggest names in poker will also play.

Phil Ivey, Andrew Robl, Fedor Holz, Sam Trickett, Andrew Pantling, Vivek Rajkumar, Andrew Timothy and Dan “jungleman12” Cates will all play.

It may be a little awkward if Cates and Dwan are seated at the same table as there’s been no news as to whether Dwan has finally settled with jungleman12 over his durrrr Challenge debt from 2013.
